3. “If she had loved Tom,” he said, “she wouldn’t have left him.”
-> He said if she had loved Tom, she wouldn’t have left Tom.
4. He said, “If you have time what will you do?”
-> He asked if I had time, what would I do.
5. She said, “If you want to lose weight, you must eat less bread.”
